Family friend suggested this place when she heard we were in the hunt for some good food. Definitely delivered. Best ramen I’ve yet to have in the states. Wow… Please go. Oh, and make sure to load up the bowl like I did. Those little extras really elevated the dish. Next time I’m back, I’m going again for sure.

A little bit of everything? Sure, why not.. With all the dishes being $10 or less, was able to order one of everything and paid less than $100 (that includes tax/tip) for two fairly big eaters. Went on a Tuesday and had a great time; both Chef Stinson Chef Suh was able to talk on each dish’s preparation, how fun!! One thing we didn’t take advantage of was the BYOB, available but we were so hungry that even a short hop away from the Candler Park Market to buy some sake was taxing.

Favorite eat would have to be the Pork belly mochi. What a different take on what I’ve typically had sweet. Also, the Cha-Mushi was really delicate and delicious.

Noodles in a meat broth with slices of pork, spinach, and fish cake

Ramen in a meat broth with slices of pork, spinach, boiled egg, nori and fish cake

Here’s the scenario: you just got off the plane, it’s a cold, raining, and a bit late. There’s a mixture of fatigue meets jet lag meets hunger and before you can get home to pass out, you know you gotta fill that stomach, else it’ll never let you sleep. One of my top 10 foods for such an occasion is a nice hot bowl of simple yet flavorful ramen. Chewy noodles paired with a hot broth, it’s a more elegant solution for such a situation. Mmm… so good.
