My observation of Chef Zach and Chef Jonathan... they were always intensely focused except at the end of service saying thanks for coming and sharing a beer by Sweetwater/Ryan Hidinger - Second Helping IPA.

Chef Zach and Jonathan were always intensely focused on making sure every plate went out right. Highly recommend a dinner at the bar to see how the two work; it’s an impressive sight.

With the weather warming up, it’s a fine time to visit the Atlanta Food Truck Park once again! Sometimes you play a game of food truck roulette but the two places I went to this go around were pretty solid. I especially enjoyed the offerings of the Smoke-fried wings. The mango thai chili glaze really made you want to go back for another bite; sweet, savory, spicy, smokey, with a slight crisp per frying the wings.

If Decatur wasn’t perfect as it were… Awesome restaurants, local  mom/pop shops, an actual Marta station stop in downtown Decatur (that I’ve never used), great bars, and now another late night food place!! 🙂 It’s such a perfect little ecosystem that if it were to split apart from the rest of Georgia, I think Decatur could sustain itself.

Victory at Sea was definitely my favorite of the two sandwiches and what I was super happy about was that they brought the Jack and Coke Slushie machine to this location!! Oh this thing will be very handy when summer hits. mmm~
